Gustav Hellberg is a Berlin-based artist. The foundation of Hellberg’s artistic practice lies in the public sphere, where he looks for an interaction between people, artwork and the public space. He has been exhibiting widely in Europe and the US. Major public interventions have recently been made at Madrid Abierto, Umedalens Skulptur, Article and urban interface|berlin. In gallery spaces his work has recently been shown at Raid Projects, Los Angeles, and Arnstedt & Kullgren, Sweden.

Upcoming, autumn/winter 2008-09
Gallery shows at Arnstedt & Kullgren and Galleri Anderson Sandström. Temporary public space interventions and museum shows will take place at Stockholm City Library, Dunkers Kulturhus and Malmö Konstmuseum. Hellberg has been chosen to create a permanent outdoor installation in the new-built residential area Gävle Strand, Gävle.
